About the Role We're looking for a skilled and personable Bartender to join our team, crafting great drinks and even better guest experiences. You'll be the face of our bar program, balancing speed, accuracy, and hospitality during busy shifts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest requests
- Take orders and process payments accurately using the POS system
- Check IDs and comply with all responsible alcohol service laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene appropriately when needed
- Build rapport with regulars and new guests alike to encourage repeat business
- Restock and requisition supplies as needed; manage inventory counts
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Requirements
- Prior bartending or barback experience preferred
- Working knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- ServSafe/TIPS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong multitasking skills and composure under pressure
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the applicable jurisdiction
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
